Jayalgarh About 90 km from Rishikesh, the village of JAYALGARH in Uttarakhand, where the camp is located, is blessed with bright green fields of fresh vegetables, the background score of the gurgling Alaknanda River and only one campsite along its edge, keeping it pleasantly secluded from the rafting action on the over-treaded banks of Rishikesh, downstream. It is a wonderful retreat for the entire family, a group of friends or just for you.
Bhrigu Lake is a lake located at an elevation of around 14500 feet near Manali in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. It is located to the east of Rohtang Pass and is around 6 kilometres from Gulaba. It is named after Maharishi Bhrigu. Legend has it that the sage used to meditate near the lake and hence it has been rendered sacred; the locals believe that due to this the lake never freezes completely.
Bhrigu is one of the most picturesque alpine lake. It appears magically before you as you ascend the trail and takes you by surprise. You walk across one of the most magnificent meadows of Gulaba to get here. With panoramic view of Pir Panjal, Dhauladhar, Great Himalayan range and numbers of peak rising above 6000m, the closest peak nearby are Deo Tibba, Indrasan, Maker Beh and Shiker Beh.
